Spiced Sweet Potato Fries with Sriracha Dip

Sweet potatoes with savory spice and a Sriracha Mayonnaise dipping sauce


  • 1.5 lbs sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • pinch cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 4 tbsp. mayonnaise or plant based mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tsp. sriracha sauce


Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut the sweet potatoes into sticks ¼ to ½ inch wide and 3 inches long. Toss them with the oil and spices, mixing well to ensure the sweet potato is coated.

  1. Spread the sweet potato out on a baking tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven. Bake until brown and crispy, about 15 minutes, then flip and cook for a further 10 minutes. 
  2. Make a spicy mayonnaise dipping sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce and serve alongside the fried potatoes.
